Project duration:

August 2023-September 2023

The Problem:

Finest Blooms outdated online presence is costing them market share. To stay competitive, they need a trendy florist website with modern design elements that can engage a younger audience. The website should be personalized, customizable easy to use on desktop as well as on mobile devices and revitalized to address their current shortcomings.

The Product:

The Trendy Florist Website is a cutting-edge digital platform designed to revolutionize the floral shopping experience. This mobile application combines modern aesthetics with user-centric features, providing a seamless and visually stunning interface for users to explore, customize, and purchase floral arrangements.

The Goal:

I want to establish Finest Blooms as a digital leader with a trendy florist app. It will offer a personalized user experience with seamless mobile functionality. This will attract and retain a wider customer base, leading to increased engagement and sustained growth in the floral market.

USER NEEDS

PREFRENCES

Understand User Needs and Preferences:

My aim is to identify the diverse needs, preferences, and expectations of potential users, including factors such as design preferences, feature priorities, and the overall user experience they desire.

Creating fictional characters

Understanding the personas of the target audience is crucial to creating designs that truly resonate with them. By humanizing the audience, I cultivated empathy and develop a deeper understanding of their needs and preferences. This approach ultimately leads to more user-centric designs that are both effective and meaningful.

Implications for App Design

  • Implement a user-friendly and visually appealing interface that caters to varying levels of tech proficiency.

  • Prioritize customization features, ensuring they are easily accessible for users.

• Integrate social media sharing options for users interested in showcasing their floral purchases.

  • Streamline the ordering process to meet the efficiency expectations of users and the simplicity needs of users.

  • Implementing effective communication strategies to keep customers informed throughout the delivery journey.

These insights serve as valuable guidelines for the design and helping me to create an app that resonates with the identified user preferences and behaviors.

Creating site map

Creating a sitemap is a crucial step in the website or app design process.

It provides me a clear roadmap for navigation, helps establish the hierarchy of content, and aids in planning a positive user experience by visualizing the layout and flow of information.
